Current Service. Aptex AI is a free, browser-based conversational utility operated by Arpit Pathak from Nepal. The current app does not require a user account and has no payment system or advertising network connected.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using Aptex AI, you agree to these Terms. You must be legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction. Aptex AI is not directed to children under 13, and a higher local minimum age or parental-consent rule may apply where required.
2. What Aptex AI does
Aptex AI generates conversational suggestions from information you provide. You can use Text mode to enter a message manually or Screenshot mode to upload one conversation screenshot for visual understanding. The service also accepts optional context, situation details, vibe/category, tone, personality, and output preferences. Aptex AI is a writing/communication utility, not a human adviser or decision-maker.
3. AI output and review requirement
AI-generated content is probabilistic. It can be inaccurate, awkward, repetitive, incomplete, offensive, or poorly matched to the situation. You should review the output before sending, publishing, or relying on it.
Aptex AI is designed for short, send-ready wording, but no output is guaranteed to be suitable or effective for a particular conversation.
4. User responsibility
You are responsible for the information you submit and for how you use generated text. Do not submit content you do not have the right or permission to provide. For Screenshot mode, you should have appropriate permission to upload the conversation image and should avoid including sensitive information that is not necessary for the requested reply.
You are also responsible for complying with applicable law and the rules of any third-party service where you use the output.
5. External platforms and interpersonal outcomes
Aptex AI is not affiliated with or responsible for dating apps, messaging platforms, social networks, email services, or other third-party platforms. We do not control how another person reacts to a message, whether an account is reported, or whether an external platform warns, restricts, suspends, or terminates an account.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aptex AI is not responsible for disputes, misunderstandings, rejection, relationship outcomes, reputational consequences, or external-platform account actions arising from your use of generated content.
6. Entertainment and informational assistance
Aptex AI is provided for entertainment, writing assistance, and general informational support. It is not professional legal, medical, financial, mental-health, employment, or other specialized advice.
7. Share cards and downloads
Aptex AI includes a card feature that can render a generated message/reply into a downloadable image. The current card renderer operates in the browser and creates the image locally for download. A downloaded card may contain both the user's input and AI-generated reply.
You are responsible for where you store, post, or share downloaded cards. Third-party platforms receiving a card may process its contents under their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Your content and limited processing permission
You retain rights you already have in content you submit, including text and screenshots. You give Aptex AI a limited permission to process that content as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, including sending the request through the Aptex AI server function to Groq and performing technical/security operations.
For Screenshot mode, this processing includes transmitting the uploaded image to Groq's configured vision model so it can understand the visible conversation and generate the requested reply. Aptex AI does not claim ownership of your conversations or screenshots merely because you submit them.
9. AI provider
The current AI request is routed to Groq for inference. Text mode uses openai/gpt-oss-20b; Screenshot mode uses qwen/qwen3.8-27b. Groq is an independent provider and its own terms, privacy practices, data controls, and usage limitations apply to its services.
10. Intellectual property
The Aptex AI name, software, interface, branding, website content, and original design elements are owned by the operator or applicable licensors. Except for rights you already own in your own submitted content, you may not copy, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service except as permitted by law or with permission.
AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in every jurisdiction, and similar outputs may be independently generated. You are responsible for determining whether your intended use is lawful.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use Aptex AI to violate law, facilitate fraud, distribute malware, bypass security controls, overload the Service, obtain unauthorized access, or facilitate threats, stalking, or targeted abuse. Do not submit information you do not have the right to submit.
12. Availability and third-party dependencies
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. It may be affected by Netlify hosting, network conditions, browser behavior, Groq availability or limits, maintenance, security events, or other third-party dependencies. Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aptex AI is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aptex AI and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the Service.
This limitation includes, to the extent legally permitted, interpersonal disputes, account moderation actions on third-party platforms, reputational effects, lost data, lost profits, or reliance on AI-generated content. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to hold harmless Aptex AI and its operator from claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or misuse of submitted or generated content.
16. Privacy
Your use of Aptex AI is also governed by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, which describe current data practices, local browser storage, AI-provider processing, third-party resources, and applicable privacy rights.
17. Governing law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Nepal, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or other rights that apply to you and cannot lawfully be waived.
18. Changes and severability
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version. If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
